Strengths Sports Level of Interest

Introduction

We recently asked the community about their training preferences and interest in various strength sports. Most of the respondents do not train specifically for a strength sport, but we saw a broad range of interest across different disciplines such as Bodybuilding, Powerlifting, Strongman, Olympic Weightlifting, and even arm wrestling.

In addition to this, we asked which workout styles were most appealing, and hybrid training easily took the top spot.

The results provide valuable insight into the diverse interests and preferences within the home gym community.

Below is a look at the data.

What “workout style” is most appealing?

Hybrid training is the dominant preference, with over half of respondents favoring it, while powerlifting and bodybuilding received about 20% of the votes each. Strongman, however, is the least preferred among the options.

Do you train for a specific “strength sport?”

Only about 23% say they are training for a specific “strength sport” like those mentioned below.

Strength Sport – Level of Interest Results

For this survey, respondents simply needed to rate their level of interest for each strength sport as high, medium, low, or IDK.
