Titan Storage System from Get RXd

The Problem for Home Gym Owners

There is no question that storage is an issue for many home gym owners. 77% of the Sunday Survey respondents say that the biggest issue they face is the amount of space they have (9.29.2019). Another 3 out of 5 would consider storage for their home gym an issue (8.25.2019).

As you begin to grow your home gym, items like bumper plates, kettlebells, dumbbells, jump ropes, and other pieces of equipment will begin to take up a ton of precious floor space. Not only does it look sloppy, but it eliminates the room you have to workout. If this is an issue for you, something like the Titan Storage Solution would benefit your gym greatly.

The Titan Storage System is versatile, durable, priced well, and a game-changer for those looking to keep their gym orderly.

A quick note on the Titan Series equipment from Get RXd so that there is no confusion: The Titan Series of products from Get RXd include storage solutions, squat racks, power cages, pull-up rigs, and attachments. Get RXd Titan Series are identified by their heavy-duty, 3″ x 3″, 11-gauge, and 7-gauge steel tubing items with 1″ attachment holes. Get RXd Titan series are designed, manufactured, and sold exclusively by Get RXd and do not have any affiliation with other companies that also use Titan in their names.

Shelf Options

Depending on what you need, there are a number of different options (all at different price points).

First, you can choose between 4′ or 6′ wide shelves. Both attach to 2 – 6′ upright posts. The one featured in this article is 4 feet ($180). It’s probably worth the extra $45 if you have the space for 6 feet.

Then, you have 3 different shelf options that can be adjusted to a number of different shelf heights:

  • The Ball/Plate Shelves ($70) have the ability to double as your plate holder and also store your med/slam balls. Not all storage systems have the ability to do this combination. Many other companies have separate shelves for each of these items (plates vs. balls).
  • Dumbbell Shelves ($85) store your dumbbells. The angle makes it easier to grab and then put back your dumbbells.
  • The Kettlebell Shelves ($90) are designed to store your kettlebells but can do so much more. It’s a great spot for other miscellaneous items that you collect like wrist wraps, grips, smaller dumbbells, landmines, etc. A dedicated flat shelf would be one suggestion Get RX’d could offer because many home gym owners do accumulate a number of random shaped items that need a home.

You can add up to 4 different shelves with any of the options mentioned above. In the end, this base package will cost between $390-$540.

Other Add-Ons

After customizing the shelves, you can add even more functionality to this setup. You have the ability to store just about anything after adding more of these additional add-ons:

  1. The Titan Double Bar Holder ($35) will store 2 barbells on the outside of the rack.
  2. The 14″ Titan Plate Sleeves ($24) are recommended for change plates, resistance bands, and other lighter options. They seem to do just fine handling heavier plates though.
  3. You can even add a Titan Landmine ($90) to a solid base for training. This attaches easy and works similarly to others that attach to power racks.

More Characteristics and Features

It’s extremely stable. With hundreds of pounds on the storage unit, it feels rock solid. The storage system is not going anywhere. Even when it’s empty, it’s not incredibly easy to move (but not impossible). Therefore, it’s ideal to set up close to where you want it to end up or be ready to get some help moving it.

Other details include:

  • The legs and shelves will fit any of the 3″ x 3″ Titan Series products from Get RXd so you can add on to this or attach to a power rack (example below).
  • While not as beefy, it’s about half of the price of the 70″ Monster Mass Storage System from Rogue.
  • Smooth finish
  • It’s also worth mentioning that there is space at the bottom for more gear to go.
  • Easy set up that can be done by one person.

Conclusion

While you are building out a home gym, it may initially seem crazy to spend money on storage, but it’s one of the best ways to improve the setting of your home gym. With the Titan Storage Rack, you’ll be able to store thousands of pounds of equipment in less than 10 square feet. It’s an investment that many should consider before their space gets too cluttered.
