Rogue Heavy Rail
This new item from Rogue is a 3×3″ – 11-gauge steel tube that mounts to the base of a wall for several purposes (plate storage, specialty bar/bar, landmine, etc. It seems pretty versatile.
It comes in a Monster Lite or Monster option. I personally would love to store a few specialty bars like this.
Titan Open Trap Bar
We’ve been waiting for a while for this one from Titan. This Open Trap Bar is built like a tank. While we still need to see more reviews, and while it’s not quite as versatile as the REP option, for example, it seems like it checks most of the boxes.
At $329, it’s priced incredibly competitively and will likely be the budget choice for many.
The New Blitz Manual Treadmill from Bells of Steel
This model doesn’t seem to be anything especially new, but Bells of Steel just launched their own manual treadmill.
It does include 6 magnetic resistance levels where you can walk, run, or push. This is similar to the Xebex AirPlus Runner but at a lower price (with shipping in mind).
December 2022
Rogue Alpaca Sled
At the end of the year, Rogue released this sled that made its debut at the most recent CrossFit Games. It’s the Echo Dog Sled on steroids.
Its newest feature includes the 21.5″ x 13.5″ steel frame that allows you to put in different weights (as opposed to just plates) – like kettlebells, dumbbells, sandbags, heavy bags of salt…. you get it!
CF Adjustable Free Motion Swing Arms
Crandall just released the most versatile jammer arms on the market when ordering a standalone package. They include the ability to swivel up to 180 degrees from side to side and up and down. In addition, they can be locked in several different angles. They aren’t priced too badly, either.
However, these arms are only available for racks with 5/8″ hole sizes.
Improvements for the All-New TANK™ M1 Push Sled
The TANK M1 made some excellent new updates. The new console option gives real-time training data, includes dumbbell cradles attachment to help with traction on the go, and has an improved 3-position tow loop.
The MODBAR™ CABLE ATTACHMENT
There isn’t anything quite like this cable attachment on the market. With the ability to go from 24″ to 48″, the patent-pending ModBar™ allows for you to change the lengths and functionality of the attachment to fit the movement you’re trying to accomplish. It ain’t cheap, though.
This product was co-patented with @man_who_parks_in_gym (some call him Jason Mckee). Matt Pendergraph also helped co-develop it. You’ll be supporting them with the purchase of this cable attachment as well.
Anker 3 from Torque
Torque is bringing a new wall-mounted pulley to the market. This thing sticks out just eight inches off of the wall and is about three feet wide.
November 2022
Speed Pins from Surplus Strength
These new pins will cling to your rack with magnets to help store spotter arms, drop-in safeties, UPS High/Low, and much more. They look really good and come at an affordable price.
It’s great to see Surplus Strength create a new product that adds even more value to its core product.
Barbell Stable via Bridge Built
Bridge Built is known for innovating its way, and the Barbell Stable is an example of that (with many more to come). After its initial creation in 2022, Patryk and the team returned to the drawing board and solved many issues during the prototype phase. It turned out to be a world-class product and one of a kind. It stores 12 barbells in a pristine manner.
Updated Xebex Ski Trainers (Eco and Smart Connect)
These updated Ski Trainers include quick-release handles so different accessories can be used. This is not something you can do with other ski trainers like the Concept2 Ski Erg. This seems to be the most distinguishing factor from the other models.
An Eco and a Smart Connect option are available.
October 2022
Barbell Anchor
Home Gym Community Member – Darko – launched The Barbell Anchor to help safely store barbells at the top of your rack.
September 2022
📜Old School Iron from Bells of Steel
Bells of Steel has added some Deep Dish Plates to the lineup. These include a 1% tolerance, black e-coat finish, and machined steel. These plates are 10% off during the pre-sale. It seems like they’ll ship in about two weeks.
Split Squat Pad from AbMat
The Split Squat Pad is a collaboration between Dr. Kelly Starrett of The Ready State and AbMat.
It allows you to turn any squat rack into a variable-height single-leg squat station. Simply rack your barbell at the proper height, slide the Split Squat Pad (SSP) onto one end of the barbell, add a 45-pound plate onto the opposing end, and start squatting. Pretty cool!
August 2022
Super Squat Bar
The Super Squat Bar comes from Prime Fitness.
Bells of Steel Releases the Hydra Rack
Bells of Steel has released nine pre-made racks with TRUE 3×3 tubing with 5/8″ holes called Hydra. Therefore, they are compatible with the Monster Lite line from Rogue.
This is after many years of not including 3×3 options within their lineup. We all know that 3×3 is not really necessary for most home gym owners, but Bells has finally given up that fight.
With that being said, the potential of these racks looks exceptionally high.
In addition, there are 17 available attachments and more to come. This includes the Hydra Seal Row Pad.
Xebex Eco Air Cycle
You won’t find a Concept2 BikeErg for under $1,100 new these days.
Get RXd has just launched the Xebex Eco Air Cycle. At $849, it’s quite a bit cheaper than similar options.
This console also tracks and displays the “Air Damper Resistance Level, Time, Distance, Calories, RPM, Watts, Speed, Pulse, and more. It’s also compatible with the Peloton App.
While the reviews are not out yet, I’ve had good experiences with Xebex equipment. The overall quality, durability, and monitor performance are strong.
Kabuki Launches a Multi-Purpose Bar
The Columbia Bar is definitely not something I expected to see from Kabuki. It includes common multi-purpose traits like a 28.5 mm, 28.5″ length, center knurl, and a 190K PSI.
The unique feature is that it uses the “250K Power Bar’s standard-setting proprietary knurl.” Therefore, it will likely be more aggressive than most multi-purpose bars you’ll find.
It’s cheaper than most of their other bars but still pricier than most options on the market.
REP Athena Side-Mount FT Attachment
Selectorized and Plate Loaded Functional Trainer Attachments can now be added to the REP PR-4000 and PR-5000 Racks.
Both include a 2:1 pulley ratio, 540 weight capacity (feels like 270), and a D Handle Attachment.
The overall price is slightly cheaper than adding an actual functional trainer. While you can add one at a time, the dual plate loaded option is $949.99, while the dual-stack weight option is $1,799.
A selectorized upgrade is available as well that’ll add 50 lbs to the stack.
July 2022
FIDAB-100 from Get RXd
This FID Bench from Get RXd appears to be the little brother of the FIDAB-2. It includes many of the same features but isn’t quite as large.
Some of the primary characteristics include:
- ability to be stored upright
- dumbbell holders can be added to seal rows
- an optional leg roller attachment can be added for decline sit-ups, Russian twists, and a leg holder for decline bench
- Three seat positions, a handle for transport, and wheels with metal guards are also included.
There may not be another bench within this pricepoint that offers this much versatility.
New from Titan: Floor Glute & Hamstring Developer
For the floor, this Floor GHD allows you to perform back/hip extensions, sit-ups, and glute ham raises.
The most appealing feature for home gym owners is its ability to be flipped vertically and stored without taking up too much space.
REP Releases Selectorized Lat/Low Row Attachment
A Selectorized Lat/Low Row Attachment is now available from REP at a reasonable price! The 200lbs weight stack includes a 1:1 ratio and can be upgraded to 300lbs.
If you already own the plate-loaded lat and low-row attachment, you can purchase the conversion kit to upgrade for a lower price.
Some other important features include:
- The integrated band pegs on the base and head plate provide the option for more weight.
- It features high-quality cables made from galvanized wire with a raw steel core rated at 1100lbs and aluminum pulleys.
- A matte black powder-coated lat pulldown bar and straight low-row bar are included.
5 Bar Vertical Storage
Kabuki launches 5 Bar Vertical Storage specifically designed to store specialty barbells.
Rogue Adds Narrow Multi Grip
This is a V2 of the original MG-4 after feedback from the community was given. The MG-4NC includes a narrower frame (7.1” wide vs. 10”) and shorter/thicker handles (5” long vs. 6.75” long, 32mm diameter vs. 28.5mm).
REP drops Open Trap Bar
The REP Open Trap Bar is arguably the most anticipated product of 2022, and it’s finally been dropped.
Some of the top features include:
- It’s Balanced, which is a better experience than having the back side of the open trap bar on the ground to start.
- Removable Handles with a thumbscrew.
- Premium Finishes with hard chrome sleeves and matte black powder coat
- Round Tubing & Knurled Center for optimal pressing and squatting use.
- Deadlift Jack for easy loading/unloading.
- Rackable. This makes it easier to setup for those pressing, squatting, shrugging, etc.
In general, it seems like a bar that takes all of the qualities from other top open trap bars and morphs them into one.
Plus, the price is reasonable at $399. For reference, that is about half the price of Kabuki’s Open Trap Bar.
Made in USA SSB from Titan
The Made in USA SSB that Titan has been teasing recently is now available and the price did not change!
It appears to be nearly identical to their other model but does include a black zinc coating and “honeycomb handles,” which do appear to be easy to grab.
New Rogue Custom Bumper Plates
Bumper plates can now be ordered with your own unique logo, original text, and preferred text color.
To add a logo, you simply need to upload it onto the product page. It’s pretty easy.
There are technically four different plates you can order these for (Color Training, Black Training, Color Urethane, and Black Urethane.
Different text colors, fonts, or Rogue designs can also be utilized.
June 2022
Lat Pulldown Low Row Machine from Bells of Steel
Bells of Steel just added a Lat Pulldown Low Row Machine to their lineup. On paper, it seems like an absolute winner.
Some additional info includes:
- 310 lb weight stack with a 1:1 pull ratio. Therefore it’s plenty heavy for just about everyone in the world.
- Lat bar, loadable weight pin, and band pegs are included.
- It’s rack attachment compatible. You can use a dip bar, landmine, split squat leg roller attachment, and more.
- It’s nearly 87″ tall. That’s much taller than most others out there. That’s a pro for those around 6 feet and above.
- At $1,799.99, it is priced reasonably and a bit higher than the Selectorized option from Titan, which has fewer features. The pre-order price will save you a decent amount and is below Titan’s price.
This YouTube video gives a solid overview of the product.
REP Oxylus Yoke
This Yoke includes 3×3 construction, a deadlift/sled/carry attachment, plastic-lined base, adjustable cross brace, adjustable weight horns, and 1″ hole sizing.
It’s beefy and weighs at least 205 lbs with a weight capacity of 2,500 lbs.
There are also four different configurations to choose from. The standard Yoke starts at $844.99, and the Yoke with all attachments is just over $1,400.
We polled you guys on the level of interest, and it wasn’t too high at all. 71% expressed low interest, and only 17% said they’d consider it their primary rack.
Rogue Indy T-Bar Row
The T-Bar Row was released a few days ago and is already sold out. Nevertheless, this portable T-Bar platform will help make that movement easier.
It’s loaded with awesome features to keep the bar safe, make loading/unloading easy, help with proper foot placement, and more.
It does come at a price that most home gym owners won’t be able to stomach. This unit starts at $425…
2×2 Dip Station
Fringe Sport launched a Dip Station specifically made for 2×2 uprights. Slide them into the posts, and you are ready to go.
May 2022
Force USA X15 Pro and X20 Pro
The X15 and X20 are a couple of versatile rack options now available from Force USA. If you’re familiar with the Force USA G-Series, these are different because they do not include a smith machine. Both have a rack to lift on (half or full), a functional trainer with dual integrated 289 lbs. weight stacks, landmine, pull-up bars, and a low row station in the footprint of a power rack.

Four new cable options coming in at different sizes and prices are now available from Bells of Steel. Two Selectorized options are available:
- Single Stack: 2:1 ratio, 33 height settings, and 210 lb weight stack for just over $1k.
- Dual Stacks: same specs as above, but two of them. This one is just above $2.2k, which is about the average price of a budget friendlier functional trainer. It can also be doubled as a squat stand. It is pictured below.
Two Plate loaded options were added as well:
- Plate Loaded Cable Tower: 2:1 pulley ratio, 33 height settings, and you’ll use your own plates. This one is pictured below.

- It’s available for six post racks or four-post racks.
- 250 lbs on each stack, and an optional 50 lb add-ons available.
- It shouldn’t take too much functionality from your power rack. The biggest hindrance will likely be the incline bench. You’ll likely need to do that at the front of the rack.
- 4 different depths can be utilized (16″, 24″, 30″, and 41″ as long as it’s paired with the 16″ for the 6 post rack option.

Wide Pads Now Available for AB-3000 and AB-5000
