- REP is expected to continue innovating and releasing high-quality products.
- Bells of Steel is predicted to have a standout year.
- Rack attachments and specialty machines are anticipated to outperform specialty bars and cardio equipment.
- Black Widow is likely to remain a prominent player.
- Smart fitness/AI devices and custom equipment are gaining momentum.
All survey results are below.
44.5% believe REP will create the best product in 2025.
- REP leads with 44.5% of respondents expecting them to create the best product. Last year it was about 51%.
- Rogue follows with 28%. This was nearly 10 percentage points higher than when asked going into 2024.
- Titan, Bells of Steel, and Fringe collectively account for 14.3%.
- Other brands received 13.2% of the vote. This was down from about 20% in 2024.
Nearly 41% think REP will drop the most innovative product.
- REP leads with 40.6% of respondents expecting them to produce the most innovative products.
- Bulletproof Fitness comes in second with 22.4%.
- Other brands account for 21.8%.
- Rogue garners 15.2% of the votes (nearly double the votes from last year).
Many think Rack Attachments and Specialty Machines will have a big year.
Rack attachments are expected to have the biggest year in 2025, leading with 48% of the survey responses. Specialty machines follow closely with 36%, while cardio equipment is projected to see moderate growth at 11.1%. Specialty bars, however, are anticipated to have the smallest impact, garnering only 3.5% of the vote.
Big year for Bells of Steel?
When asked which of the four larger companies will have the biggest year in 2025, Bells of Steel emerged as the frontrunner with 51.6% of the votes. Fringe Sport followed with 27.7%, while Get RXd garnered 17.4%. Body-Solid was predicted to have the smallest impact, receiving just 3.3% of the votes.
Big year for Black Widow?
Bridge Built is predicted to make the most noise among “USA Made” companies in 2025, leading with 29.9% of the votes. Black Widow follows closely with 29.4%. AbMat and Surplus Strength are also expected to have a significant impact, with 20.4% and 20.3% of the votes, respectively.
Many do anticipate more Smart Fitness/AI Connected Devices and Custom Equipment into more home gyms in 2025.
Smart fitness/AI-connected devices are predicted to be the most likely addition to home gyms in 2025, leading with 35.4% of the votes. Custom equipment follows closely at 32.7%, while magnetic resistance products are expected to capture 19.4%. Flywheels are anticipated to have the least impact, garnering 12.5% of the votes.
