To follow along each week, make sure you are subscribed to Knurled News, where this info is shared on a weekly basis.

Bells of Steel Smith Machine Attachment

Bells of Steel Smith Machine Attachment: Bells of Steel has introduced a unique rack-mounted Smith machine, designed for compatibility with their racks as well as most non-Bells of Steel racks with 3″x3″ tubing and specific height and hole requirements. This attachment offers both a fixed bar option and a “Bring Your Own Bar” (BYOB) version, with the BYOB model fitting narrower, 47″ racks. It mounts inside or outside the rack, adding only 14” of width, and features an angled bar path for a more natural lift that reduces joint strain, ideal for exercises like squats and bench presses. Built with a powder-coated frame, a 36 lb starting bar weight (for the fixed version), light knurl, chrome coating, and a 600 lb weight capacity, this space-efficient Smith machine is currently available for pre-sale at $799, with shipping set for February 28, 2025.

Kraken Rack Attachment

The Kraken Rack Attachment has been long teased from Bells of Steel and it is finally available for pre-order.

The standout feature is its ability to use a 2:1 or 1:1 ratio with dual handles so you can even do bilateral movements on a single post. Aluminum pulleys, dual guide rods, a 210 pound weight stack (if applicable) and two aluminum handles are included on each single side.

You can also choose between plate loaded vs. weight stack, purchase a single side at at time, options will work for 4 and 6 post racks, and optional shrouds can be purchased.

It may be the most versatile pulley system added to single posts, but it is a fair amount more costly than others, too.

The Booty Box

The Booty Box allows for a deeper range of motion on squats, lunges, and deadlifts. It also includes a built-in island board feature and band attachments, as well as a pad for hip thrusts and Bulgarian split squats.

Standalone Lat Pulldown/Low Row’s from Get RXd

Selectorized Lat Pulldown/Low Row and Plate Loaded Lat Pulldown/Low Row from Get RXd: Get RX’d has introduced two new lat pulldown/low row machines—Plate-Loaded and Selectorized—giving home gym users versatile, space-efficient options for back training. The Plate-Loaded model is priced at $629.10, while the Selectorized version, featuring a 200 lb weight stack with an optional 100 lb add-on, is $989.10. Both models share key features like a 26″ x 12″ seat pad, all-aluminum pulleys, adjustable leg and foot holders, and durable 14-gauge steel construction. Each comes with a 48″ lat pull bar and a compact design (88″ tall, 35″ wide, 64″ long). Since shipping isn’t included, bundling these machines with other items from Get RX’d may help offset delivery costs.

Rogue Monster Rhino Trainer

The Rogue Monster Rhino Trainer is finally here & it includes two primary options. One with the functional trainer and one without. Both include a built-in Rhino along with a lat pulldown system.

It appears to be a very well thought out design and the overall quality seems on par with the entire FM-6 releases.

Some additional specs include:

  • Options with or without Functional Trainer ($4,945 – $7,100)
  • 4 Post or 6-Post Options.
  • Lat Pulldown & Rhino BS include 1:1 ratio, 2:1 for Functional Trainer.
  • 90″ or 100″ Height
  • 24, 30, and 43″ rack depth options
  • Rack Roller needed to keep knees down.

Multi Grip Attachment

The Multi-Grip Attachment from Bridge Built turns any straight barbell into a multi-grip bar. It opens up new possibilities for exercises like presses, rows, curls, and more, allowing you to explore different angles and positions. Plus, it doubles as a cable attachment, adding variety to your training without taking up extra space.

This works for 28mm, 28.5mm, and 29mm barbells.

Extended Pulley Attachment

The Extended Pulley Attachment from Bridge Built is designed to enhance the functionality of various pulley systems, including the Omni-Pulley System 2.0. Its extended arm and multiple pulleys provide additional exercise options, such as belt squats, lat pulldowns, and other cable-based movements.

A notable feature of this attachment is its fully quick-release mechanism. This design simplifies adjustments and transitions between exercises, making it more user-friendly compared to many traditional rack-mounted pulley systems.

The attachment is compatible with both 3×3 and 2×3 racks, ensuring it can integrate with a wide range of power rack setups. It offers a straightforward way to increase the versatility of a power rack for those seeking more options in their training routines.

PRx Profile Halo Arms

The PRx Profile Halo Arms, developed in collaboration with Kaizen DIY Gym, are designed to provide a versatile and streamlined solution for Profile Racks. Compared to the Built Limitless system, these arms are lighter, less cumbersome, and easier to attach and remove. They include five vertical and horizontal locking positions, allowing for free-motion movement and adjustable bent handles to accommodate various exercises.

Specifically designed for Profile Racks with 5/8” holes and 2×3 tubing, these arms are a practical addition for those looking to expand their training options. Notably, they are also about half the price of the original Halo Arms, offering a cost-effective alternative for rack customization.
