Rogue CTM or REP Adonis?
In last week’s edition, it was highlighted that the Rogue CTM (very similar to the REP Adonis) will be released next month.
These two were compared in a poll, and the Rogue option won with about 7% more votes than the Adonis.
In total, 39.7% voted for the CTM, 32.8% for the Adonis, and 27.5% needed more info.
On this Instagram Post, many highlighted that they would choose REP because of the Pegasus Attachment, others choosing Rogue because of the Made in America aspect but little price difference.
Which Rack Are You Going With?
The four largest companies within this community seem to be Rogue, REP, Titan, and Bells of Steel, and it was asked, “Where are you most likely to buy a power rack” between these four?
REP was the relatively easy winner with 46% of the votes, about 11% higher than Rogue and over 2x the size of Bells of Steel and Titan combined.
While Bells of Steel replaced “Other,” this question was asked last year as well.
Last year, Rogue was the winner with 39% of the votes, but as mentioned above, REP surpassed them when asked this year.
Company | Last Year | This Year | % Change |
Rogue | 39.05% | 34.69% | -11% |
REP | 34.83% | 46.12% | 32% |
Titan | 9.52% | 11.33% | 19% |
Other | 16.61% | n/a | |
Bells of Steel | 7.85% | n/a |

Smart or “Soft?”
We asked whether these nine products were “Soft” or Smart?” Many of these have received criticism for being “soft” from the internet, so I wanted to poll the community to see what most actually thought.
In general, most though the items brought up were smart. Here’s a look at the “Smartest” with a quick explanation of what they do.
- Specialty Bars (83.16%): These likely include bars designed for specific exercises, which can improve technique and target different muscle groups.
- Deadlift Jack (76.74%): Deadlift jacks are tools that help lift weights off the ground, reducing risk of injury and assisting with heavier weights.
- Lifting Straps (73.94%): Lifting straps improve grip strength and can help prevent the bar from slipping during exercises.
- Knee Sleeves (71.70%): Knee sleeves provide support and stability during lower body exercises.
- Hip Thrust Pad (69.75%): A hip thrust pad increases comfort and stability during the exercise.
- Wrist Wraps (67.59%): Wrist wraps offer support and stability for the wrist joint.
The Zercher Pad, designed to make the Zercher squat more comfortable, received the most mixed feedback, with 39% voting smart, 32% voting soft, and 29% voting “not sure.” This may be due to the lack of knowledge of the lift.
Lastly, barbell pads and lifting gloves were both voted on as soft by a large majority.
