*HomeGymCon is 10 weeks away!
Introduction
Last week’s survey data asked some repeat questions about buying equipment made in your country, buying from the original creator, and more.
Much of the “support data” aligns with this article (Buying Gym Equipment that’s Made in Your Country – Interest Levels) written about one year ago. In general, there weren’t any significant changes at all.
You can listen to us chat about this on Garage Gym Radio or wherever you listen to podcasts.
Below is the data.
About 38% typically look to see what country their equipment was made before purchasing
This is on par with what we’ve seen in the past – basically, no change over the past three years.
4% vote for buying “made-in-your-country gym equipment” as essential. Nearly half voted “not important.”
That also aligns with what we’ve seen over the past few years.
More importance is given to “supporting the creator,” but only 7% say “essential.”
About 2/3 set gym-related goals in 2024.
Outlook for spending on Home Gym is Less than 2023. Nevertheless, 32% still believe they will spend more than $1,000 on their home gym in 2024.
This is a repeat question from around the same time last year & the comparisons are below.
