Introduction

September gave us nearly 20 products that could potentially considered for your home gyms!

My favorites have to be the new attachments from Kleva Built! The Xebex FreeRun Motorized Treadmill, WheelBarrow Sled, and Rack Rollers from Surplus Strength are also mighty impressive.

The full list is below!

WheelBarrow Sled from Freak Athlete

Freak Athlete has added another versatile tool to its arsenal with the WheelBarrow Sled.

This sled includes multiple push positions with the “normal sled” setup, wheelbarrow mode, a wrap-around rail (for easier change of directions), and vertical storage!

Rack Rollers from Surplus Strength

Surplus Strength seems to be adding one product at a time that is arguably the best quality on the market – spotter arms, magpins, adjustable pull-up bar, and now leg rollers.

Additional details include:

  • Release Sale Discount (use code GGE to save more)
  • Includes a 17″ long, 4.5″ round leg pad
  • Antibacterial, single-mold, closed-cell foam
  • Chrome-plated steel shaft
  • Fully machined, chrome-plated knurled nut
  • Acetal washers to ensure a seamless fit

Rogue Pack Sled

The Rogue Pack Sled is a small, lightweight, and portable weight sled that can be easily stored in a backpack or rucksack. It measures 12.5 inches by 9 inches by 1.85 inches and weighs only 10 pounds. The sled has a quickly removable weight post and pulling strap, so you can easily add or remove weight.

Air Bike Eco 1000 from Get RXd

The Xebex Air Bike 1000 Eco is a budget-friendly air bike that appears to still be built tough and includes many other air bike features.

It currently includes a special pre-order price and is estimated to ship in mid-October.

Xebex FreeRun Motorized Treadmill Smart Connect

The Xebex FreeRun Motorized Treadmill has two modes of training: FreeRun mode and Motorized mode. I believe this is the only treadmill on the market that does this!

  • FreeRun mode is a user-powered mode, which means that you are in control of your stride, speed, and pace. In this mode, the treadmill’s slats are moved by your own movement. This mode offers the following benefits:
  • Motorized mode is the default mode. In this mode, you can set your desired speed and incline using the console or the buttons on the handles.

Isolator Knurled Hand Knobs from JD Gym Equipped

The Isolator knobs are not the best. They’ll do the job of holding the unit up but are just plastic.

And while this may be one of the most unnecessary upgrades you would want, these custom hand knobs built for the Isolator are AWESOME!

Adjustable 1” Pull-Up Bar from Surplus Strength

Built-in the USA with that Surplus craftsmanship, this pull-up bar is an excellent addition to your power rack, allowing little ones to do pull-ups!

However, since it’s made of solid steel, many can likely take advantage of rows, push-ups, inertia wave, and even pull-ups.

Infinity Arm 2.0 from Exponent Edge

We’ve mentioned that the Infinity Arm 2.0 from Exponent Edge appears to be the most versatile chest-supported rack attachment. It has been updated so it can be attached using front and side holes and to the inside of the rack, as this device has top and bottom holes that are 6-inch on-center holes, standard for most racks.

Posterior Chain Developer from Bulletproof Fitness

The PCD may just be the most versatile machine ever created.

This machine replaced the GHD and features a “patented ISO chest-supported T-bar row. So many other possibilities are available too (highlighted below).

  • T-Bar Row
  • Iso-Lateral T-Bar Row
  • Bent Over T-Bar Row

REP has added some budget-friendly/high-value barbells to their lineup:

  • Teton Training Bar: This Olympic weightlifting barbell that won’t break the bank is a 28mm diameter shaft that is ideal for male lifters and comes with IWF knurl markings to help you maintain proper hand placement during your lifts.
  • Delta Basic Bar: This budget-friendly includes a 29 mm diameter & is designed to be used as a powerlifting/mixed-use barbell for lifters looking for great value and versatility.
  • Mesa Technique Bar : This bar is ideal to help you learn the proper techniques of Olympic weightlifting and powerlifting. As a training bar that’s built for beginners, this technique bar weighs just 15 lbs & has just a light knurling to it.

Belt Squat Attachment (designed for lever arms) via Bare Steel Equipment

This Belt Squat Attachment is a lever arm add-on designed to help turn lever arms into a belt squat.

It can also be used for other exercises, such as rows, bicep curls, and viking presses.

Here is some additional info on the key features of the Bare Steel Equipment Belt Squat Attachment:

  • Fits 3×3″ racks/arms with 1″ holes
  • HDPE inserts for rack protection
  • 16″ stainless steel sleeves, so quite a bit of weight can be loaded on.
  • Bare steel base frame
  • TIG welded
  • This made in the USA attachment is not cheap though.

Long Lever Arm for Isolator

This is one of my favorite add-ons Bulletproof has added to The Isolator.

This longer arm allows you to turn your isolator into a reverse hyper, back extension machine, used for assisted Nordics and likely quite a bit more!

Fifth Gen KBox

This new model includes a larger platform, improved accessories, and an improved kMeter.

In general, it looks easier to use & larger, so it is a more comfortable experience.

Made in USA Bumper Plates via The Strength Co

There are not many bumper plates made in the USA these days, but The Strength Co has added an option for those looking to keep their purchases Made in the USA.

These plates are available in 45s, 25s, and 10s, include a matte black finish with recessed stainless steel inserts, and use recycled crumb rubber as filler with a Urethane Binder, which they claim makes them “virtually indestructible.”

These appear to be similar to other crumb bumper plates on the market & thicker than some other bumper plate options out there.

Titan Series Single Post Flat Bench

This new option from Titan appears to be a challenger to the REP FB-5000.

The TITAN Series Tri-Pod Competition Flat Bench comes with an extra thick and wide pad, featuring a ridged base that can support up to 1,200 lbs.

It also claims a “HeftyGrip vinyl upholstery for enhanced comfort, grip, and style.”

Camo Bumper Plates from Fringe

Fringe Sport is very well known for having some of the best bumper plate options available & just added to their lineup with these Camo Bumper Plates.

I think these look awesome, and here is what Fringe had to say about them on an IG post:

  • These plates include the ideal mix of low bounce & high durability.
  • They are thinner than most bumper plates on the market, so you can fit more weight on the bar (and they take up less space in your gym!)
  • Tested to withstand 30,000 drops from the overhead position
  • Sold in sets & pairs
  • Backed by the best warranty in the biz (3 year warranty). Use them, love them, or send them back – no questions asked!

Updated Bells of Steel Curl Bars

Bells of Steel has updated/added four curl bar options to their lineup. There are two “industrial options,” where one is rackable & the other is not. Plus two e-coat/bright zinc ones where one is rackable & the other is not.

Additional Notes:

  • While I personally think the upgrade to rackable is worth the additional cost, some do prefer the tighter feel of an EZ curl bar.
  • The cerakote coating will include a better knurl feel than the e-coat, which is incredible for being rust resistant, but does dull it quite a bit.

Tricep Pushdown Attachment from Kleva

Kleva built continues to pump out sleek, lightweight, ergonomically focused attachments & this is the latest example: Some key specs for the new tricep pushdown attachment includes:

  • Handle Length – 6”
  • Handle Diameter – 29mm
  • Weight – 2lbs🤯
