To keep up with the latest product releases, you can subscribe to the Knurled News Newsletter. This will ensure you receive timely updates on new products as they become available.

Before we get into the list, I’ll give you my favorite 7 releases before we go into the entire list. Keep in mind this doesn’t necessarily mean they are the “best 7.”

  1. The Stealth Spotter Arms (Surplus Strength)
  2. Double Black Diamond Power Bar (REP)
  3. Hades Deadlift Bar (REP)
  4. Force USA Leg Press/Squat Combo (updated)
  5. Plate Loaded Lat Pulldown Low Row Machine (BOS)
  6. The Marrs Bar 2.0
  7. Mammoth Belt Squat (Fringe Sport)

*There are a number of power bars below that I probably would have added to this list if I’d checked them out before.

Nevertheless, here is what we’ve got so far through June 2023.

January 2023

Titan Open Trap Bar: We waited awhile for this one from Titan after they teased it for about a year. This Open Trap Bar appears to be built like a tank. While we still need to see more reviews, and it’s not quite as versatile as the REP option, it seems like it checks most of the boxes.

Rogue Heavy Rail: This new item from Rogue is a 3×3″ – 11-gauge steel tube that mounts to the base of a wall for several purposes (plate storage, specialty bar/bar, landmine, etc. It seems pretty versatile. It comes in a Monster Lite or Monster option. I personally would love to store a few specialty bars like this.

United Fit Camber Bar: This multi-grip camber bar includes adjustable camber levels, an “X” Taper for ergonomic overhead pressing, and pin-removable horns for compactable cable attachment. V2 is already in the works!

Speed Pins XL from Surplus Strength: These speed pins (magnetized hitch pins) are strong enough to hold any rack-mounted attachment, and Surplus claims they will not damage the finish on your rack – which is something that some cheap options do (use code GGE to save 5%).

February 2023

The Genesis Jack Evo is a deadlift jack from a collaboration with AbMat and Kleva Built and a cheaper alternative to the Genesis Jack 2.0. I can personally attest to its strength. It feels just as strong as the other and weighs under 1 pound! It’s a very impressive tool.

The FT-5000 2.0 Functional Trainer includes higher/lower handles, lighter/slimmer/easier to adjust trolleys, additional grips for pull-up station, and just an overall sleeker look.

Belt Squat Collar: Kaizen DIY Partnered with GymPin for another product. This time it’s an attachment to help with landmine belt squats (belt squat collar). Adding a longer and adjustable arm makes it much more versatile than a traditional strap. The code GGE will save you 10% off your orders from GymPin.

Rogue Hybrid Power Bar: The specs on this bar are highlighted by the 2XAGGRO Knurl, Stainless Steel, Proprietary Matte Black Finish on sleeves, and a 28.5 MM shaft. The largest difference between this and any other Rogue power bars is the 28.5 MM Shaft, where Rogue states: “the narrower design benefits athletes that incorporate Olympic lifts into their powerlifting program, as it makes the hook grip easier to achieve.” Personally, doing Olympic lifts with a 2XAGGRO knurl sounds like a death sentence for the hands, but I have not tested it.

American Barbell Chewy Bar: American Barbell has added this power bar to the lineup. It’s made in the USA, includes a stainless steel shaft/hard chrome sleeve, 190K Tensile Strength, aggressive knurl, and patented/signature recess TIG weld. In addition, they use “stainless steel internal snap rings and composite bushings to keep it quiet, tight, and long-lasting.”

AbMat Pivot Pad: The Pivot Pad turns any squat rack and barbell setup into a variable-height hip thrust machine. The pad performs like a commercial-grade hip thrusting machine at a fraction of the price – and footprint. The pad has a soft foam exterior and rigid core.

March 2020

Hack Squat Add-On: Force USA is well known for having one of the best compact leg press options. They recently added a Hack Squat add-on to this option, which seems promising.

Rogue/Woodway Curved Treadmill: Rogue partnered with Woodway to bring another curved treadmill to life. This option is similar to other non-motorized treadmills, but is definitely sleek, includes an updated monitor, and is priced reasonably (somewhat surprisingly).

Rogue Pritchett Pad: This was designed in collaboration with strongman legend Jerry Pritchett. This rack attachment designed to help with chest-supported rows doesn’t not need additional hardware, can be used with landmines, and is $295 before shipping.

The Marrs Bar 2.0 includes shorter sleeves and weighs just 35 lbs, which is almost less than half of the original.

The Stealth Spotter Arms take up just three holes on the rack, include 10 laser cut and numbered holes on the sidewall, include 1/4″ UHMW protection on all mating and barbell-facing surfaces + more!

Plate Loaded Lat Pulldown Low Row Machine: This option includes a 450 lb cable capacity, aluminum pulleys (upgrade from many other plate-loaded options, band pegs, and more). This one comes from Bells of Steel.

REP Utility Seat: This versatile attachment can be attached to a number of areas of your rack and ultimately be used for movements like box jumps, leg presses, nordic curls, step-ups, dips, rows, and much more. You also have the ability to add a pad to do movements like seal rows more comfortably. It starts out at $249.

April 2023

Upgraded Leg Press/Hack Squat Combo from Force USA: The primary complaint of the Force USA Leg Press/Squat Combo was that it did not allow everyone to get a full range of depth. However, that has been updated, and it now allows for you to o below 90 degrees if necessary. It was a solid option before, but this, along with its updated look, makes it something for many considering this machine a top option.

REP FT-3000 Compact Functional Trainer 2.0: The updated FT-3000 includes a lighter design with an even smaller profile than the original, upgraded pulleys, an extended cable range, and MORE.

Nemesis Single Stack Functional Trainer: Speaking of updated Functional Trainers, this single stack from Titan now includes “longer arms and fewer moving parts while maintaining the ability to train in over 1,000 explosive strength training positions.”

Rhino Horn Magpin from Fringe: The newest magpin comes from Fringe. I believe this is the only one with a “pierced nose” design, which helps hold the magpin in place in case it does pop loose. Additional features include a stainless steel pin, and an anodized aluminum head.

May 2023

Extra Long Tricep Rope Extension (54″) from Bells of Steel:” This 54″ long rope allows a larger range of motion for isolation lifts.

PRx Weight Vest Storage: Weight vests are a pesky item to store! PRx recently released this storage option for your weight vest.

Wide Body Bench: This is an adjustable bench with movable “side-pads” to help mimick floor press. It can also be used for incline curls and likely much more. It is currently on pre-order for $750.

June 2023

These Roolox Collars slide onto the ends of any Olympic barbell and fasten your weights tightly to the bar with a simple click. They are designed to be convenient and functional. These collars also have several color options to match your gym’s vibe – black, green, red, blue, and white.

Double Black Diamond Power Bar: This is REP’s new premier power bar with a very aggressive knurl. It includes specs similar to other high-end power bars. Cerakote to SS options are available. The starting price is very reasonable.

Colorado Bar 20kg: With a 28.5 mm diameter and medium knurl, this is your “everyday barbell” that can be used for just about anything. Cerakote and hard chrome options are available.

Colorado Bar 15kg: With a 25 mm diameter and medium knurl, this is your “everyday barbell” that can be used for just about anything and is the common size you’d find most women using for CrossFit. Pink and black Cerakote and hard chrome options are available.

Helios Squat Bar: This one is designed specifically for squatting. It features several features that make it ideal for this purpose, including a 32mm shaft diameter, so there is no flex with higher weight, longer length, weighs 55 lbs, and an aggressively knurled center. It includes an all-black look with a black Cerakote shaft and Duracoat sleeves.

Hades Deadlift Bar: This bar is specifically designed so you can deadlift the heaviest weight possible. It includes a very aggressive knurl, 27mm diameter, and longer length. There will be a good amount of “whip” when lifting heavy weight. It also includes an all-black look with a black Cerakote shaft and Duracoat sleeves.

Build Limitless® Axis Pad: This Made in the USA & flexible rack attachment features nine adjustable angles (compared to 7 from Bells of Steel) that range from -90° to 30°, making a versatile add-on to your rack. You can use it for various exercises such as chest-supported rows, standing incline presses or curls, step-ups, and pulley work. It attaches to any 3″x3″ upright with 5/8″ holes and 4″ spacing.

Warrior Kettlebell: This limited edition kettlebell includes a unique skull design, wide handle, powder coat finish, & weighs 50 lbs.

Kabuki Transformer Bar by Rogue: The primary additions include an additional detent pin for locking the adjustable sleeve into its bracket and a new Proprietary Matte Black bracket finish + markings for each sleeve and pin position.  Overall, there isn’t too much of a change, but it looks better and should be easier to use.

Elite Series Power Barbell: This bar is priced incredibly well for an aggressively knurled power bar with a 220k PSI (pictured below), 29mm shaft, and Hard Chrome Coating. This comes from Titan.

Performance Series Power Barbell: This is another budget option from Titan. For $149.99 this one includes a medium knurl, 29 mm shaft, 165k PSI, and chrome coating.

Updated Evo Jack: After some customer feedback, Abmat went back to the drawing board on the jack to make it cheaper & stronger. They added material in the thinner areas, thickened the spine up by 5X, and added a larger lip in the front. Plus, by using a more accessible material, we were able to lower the retail cost by $10.

Mammoth Belt Squat: In collaboration with Kyle from Kaizen DIY Gym, Fringe Sport has released the Mammoth Belt Squat. This rack attachment seems to be a solid option priced in between something like Revolt and the more expensive rack-mounted belt squat arms (Sorinex J-Squat, for example). For just a bit more than the option from Revolt, it includes quite a bit more features and seems like a much better option.

Thresher Pad via Darko Lifting: This new pad is primarily designed to attach to take your spotter arms to the next level. It includes five adjustable angles and can be used for exercises such as dumbbell rows, reverse chest flyes, This Made in America product appears to be rock solid – created with steel, powder coat finish, custom grippy pad, and a seat liner to protect your spotters and uprights from scratches.

Stealth Triad: Through a partnership with Pepin Dumbbell, the signature Triads have been upgraded. The Stealth Triads include the same multi-grip design but will be quicker to load (help fix #1 complaint), have upgraded locking pins, and look nice with an all-black finish.

Triad Cable Handles: These handles include a similar design as traditional Triads but are designed to be used with cables.

Zercher Pad from AbMat: Most would likely never perform a zercher squat/exercise because it just isn’t comfortable. The Zercher Pad is designed to make zercher squats, carries, and lunches more comfortable! You’ll simply need to add the pad onto a racked barbell, and wala! This product was inspired by Christana Lazo who is a powerlifter and part of the AbMat team. She is pictured below.
