New Gym Equipment Released in October 2021

October was a solid month of new gym equipment with new bench options from REP, adjustable monolifts, gold bars, and more.

Here’s what we’ve got:

Clear-Coat Benches from REP

Many home gym owners have lusted over the clear coat option on their racks, but the premium clear coat finish is now an option for the AB-5000, AB-5200, and FB-5000. They are currently available for pre-order and will ship before the end of the year.

Wide Pads Now Available for AB-3000 and AB-5000

In October, REP also added some wide pad options for the AB-5000 and AB-3000 (best bench for most people and pictured below). This adds a bit more girth to a couple of REP’s most popular bench options, which will add more stability, comfort and eliminate the shoulder hang-off for “wider population.”

Rogue AM-2 Adjustable Monolift 2.0

Rogue releases new Adjustable Monolift for their Monster Racks. Each Monolift now weighs about 24.5 lbs (down nearly 8 pounds from the previous model), and “a grip-friendly design on the J-Hook opening allows for more comfortable maneuverability.” The most significant selling point is likely their ease of adjusting, which can be tedious on some other models offered by other companies.

Bells of Steel Releases Industrial Line

These new bars from BOS are now available for Canadians and will be available for those in the US within the next few weeks. The Hex, Curl Bars, and Loadable Dumbbells include a black cerakote finish and gold-colored Titanium plated sleeves.

Bells of Steel Deadlift Jack

Bells of Steel releases Deadlift Jack which will help make “deadlift day” more efficient. This does include plastic-lined cups to make sure your barbell does not get beat up.

Midas’ Revenge Bar

Fringe just came out with the Midas’ Revenge Bar. In a recent review, As Many Reviews as Possible did say there was a fair amount of rust underneath the sleeves, though, so buyer beware.

LB Black Grip Plates from Titan

Rubber Grip Plates are easy to operate and quieter than traditional iron. Plus, there is a good chance they won’t chip over time. They tend to cost a bit more, but these newly released options from Titan are priced pretty well.

Box Squat Pad from Abmat

This is the first foam molded pad designed for box squats. The Box Squat Pad will fit 24″ x 24″ squat platforms and a 20″ plyo box. This was created in collaboration with former Highland Games athlete Matt Vincent.

That’s it
