A Reminder of the New “Hot or Not” Method
Based on Instagram Story Voting, the “Hot Rating” is an average of the points per vote where:
- Hot = 3 points
- Warm = 1 points
- Neutral = 0 points
- Cold = -2 points
Therefore, the highest possible average is 3, and the lowest is -2. For this first week, we took some of the most popular items from the previous survey and a few others, so the overall average of this first survey may be a little high.

Notable Matchups
- The REP AB-5000 Zero Gap took the top spot this week, also beating out the Rogue Adjustable Bench 3.0 and Rep AB-5200 from last week. Think another bench will top it in upcoming surveys?
- Rogue Deep Dish Plates win against the newly released Rogue USA Olympic Plates thanks to about 8% more voting them as “hot.”
- The Concept 2 Rower Rower came in at #2 with a rating of 1.89. It did beat the Rogue Echo Bike from the week before! In the past, it’s usually a close competition, but the Echo Bike typically comes out on top.
- REP Change Plates beat the Rogue Change Plates from the prior week by .24, which is a decent amount considering they look very similar.
- The premium Kabuki Kadillac Bar scores higher than the more budget friendly Titan Multi-Grip Camber Bar.
- Fleck Plates beat out the Savage Bumper Plates by quite a bit.
