Last week’s survey asked a bunch of questions about barbells. Here are the results.
86% of respondents own a Barbell

Only 35% of the respondents for this question only own 1 barbell and about 20% own four or more.

51% own at least 1 specialty bar.

The barbell is used quite a bit by those answering the questions. About 83% are using a barbell at least 3 times a week.

Would you rather have a power bar or a traditional olympic bar for a first barbell? This was pretty close, but the olympic bar wins this one.

A moderate knurl preference is definitely the favorite and there seems to be very little need for passive knurl options.

80% say it is worth it to spend more for a bar that will not rust.

A majority actually say that they plan on purchasing a barbell in the next 12 months, even though they already have at least one. LOVE IT

The final question asked, “What is your primary barbell?” This will be tallied up and revealed in a post later this week! A lot seem to like this power bar made in Ohio though.
