Example of a Boneyard Bar – What’s in the Pic?

What can you expect when you purchase a Boneyard Bar from Rogue? You can expect a traditional barbell with some minor cosmetic issues such as blemishes or knurl inconsistencies but they’ll most likely perform just as well as a traditional one. With that, comes a lower price tag.

Below is a live example of Boneyard Ohio Bar. Specifically, it’s a Boneyard 20 KG Power Bar (Black Zinc Shaft w/ Bright Zinc). From a distance, it looks flawless.

Below you’ll see the largest blemish. There is a small one about 6 inches from the endcap. There are a few more spots where it isn’t crystal clear, but overall it is a beautiful bar and there are zero performance issues.

Below are a few more close up pics. Please note that the bar was not lathered down before its glamour shots and it actually gets used.

No issues with knurling

The goal of this post was to give an example of what you can expect when purchasing a Boneyard Bar from Rogue. While the “issues” may vary, the bars still perform at a high level.
