From medicine balls to Peloton’s, and everything in between, here are the highlights from last week’s results:
-
- Medballs shockingly beat out a ton of incredible products to earn the highest rating
- Sandbags over Strongman Sandbags by 1%, but both very high ratings
- Ironmaster Dumbbells over PowerBlock Dumbbells, but both with relatively low ratings
- Most respondents do not care for the Peloton, one of the hottest fitness products in the world
79% – Medballs: A surprise #1! So much can be done with this “weighted ball.” This specific medicine ball from Raptor Fitness is a beast and priced much lower than others of similar quality.
79% – Sandbags: Takes up little space, can get a brutal workout in with just this tool, and usually won’t break the bank. Therefore, it’s a favorite among home gym owners.
78% – Strongman Sandbags: These bags are brutal. After a few minutes, you’ll be feeling the pain! The Colossus Sandbags are a great way to humble yourself if you are not used to this sort of training. They are also an alternative to using real stones for someone who trains specifically for strongman events.
77% – Texas Power Bars: Maybe the most famous powerlifting bar of all time?
74% – Raptor Power Rack: Another beauty with multiple color options from Raptor Fitness #madeintheusa
60% – Cal Trolley + Lever Arm Kit: Some arms for your squat rack.
57% – Battle Ropes: Solid conditioning tool that’ll give you a full body workout and can serve as cardio for many.
41% – Deathwish Coffee: Based on previous surveys, this was the most popular coffee out there, so maybe the pumpkin picture used below was a reason for the lower rating?
40% – Ironmaster Dumbbells: Adjustable dumbbells where the weight can be easily changed. These are handy for home gym owners, but not cheap.
37% – Donut Bumper Plates: 20 pounds for $179 is not so hot. They are brilliant though.
35% – Powerblock Dumbbells: More adjustable dumbbells.
28% – Peloton: workout classes + more at home from a bike or treadmill? Absolutely incredible. Only 28% think it’s “hot” though.
