While Preston Wilson of PW23 Fitness makes boxes like this for a living, he makes it clear that just about anyone can create their own if they want to put in the effort.
Instead of buying a new one, a DIY plyo box is going to save about half the price of a normal plyo box. The materials and tools necessary are listed out first and the video will layout instructions.
What do you need?
- A 4×8 foot piece of plywood (3/4 inch thick)
- Traditional Drywall screws (1 and 1/4 to 2 inch range)
Tools Needed:
- Safety Glasses, Gloves, Drill, Circular Saw, Jigsaw (other alternatives if you don’t have a jigsaw), Sander, Tape Measure, Pencil, Hammer, and Straight Edge.
