A Conversation between Bob and Larry:
Bob: I love my garage gym. It’s great to be able to work out just about whenever I want.
Larry: Garage gyms are cool and all, but I don’t have a garage. I live in an apartment.
Bob: That sucks.
Larry: Yes it does.
Bob: It took a long time for me to build out my garage gym. You know what you should do?
Larry: What?
Bob: You should start with just a few items that fit in your apartment so that you can do a workout or two a week. That way you don’t have to drive to the gym every day and will have a headstart when you buy a home.
Larry: That’s a great idea. What should I buy??
Bob: Here are my suggestions. These are all items that take up little space, but allow you to get a great workout!”
- Kettlebells
- Resistance Bands
- A set of Dumbells
- If you choose to go with dumbells over a kettlebell, a Kettle Gryp would be a great addition
- Stationary Bike
Larry: These are great suggestions! Plus, none of these are going to be loud and wake up the neighbors.
*This post was inspired by the many followers that want a garage gym, but aren’t currently living in a home. A recommendation would be to start now because, for most, it is a process that takes a long time. Also, easy access to fitness is really important. It’s nice to have some sort of option wherever you live.
